About our pharmacy

Your local, independent pharmacy — now Hoxton Clinic.

Spring Pharmacy has served Hoxton and Shoreditch since 1987. Our B12 service brings that same face-to-face care to a question a lot of people have: a proper conversation about your history and any recent blood tests, and an honest answer on whether an injection is appropriate for you.

No GP referral and no online form deciding for you. Book a consultation, and if a B12 injection isn't the right thing, we'll tell you what might be.

How it works

Three steps, one appointment.

The consultation comes first, every time. The injection is only given where a pharmacist has confirmed it's appropriate for you.

Initial consultation

A private, unhurried appointment with a pharmacist. We take a full medical and medicines history, measure your weight, height and BMI, and talk honestly about what you want to achieve.
Around 30 minutes · fee confirmed at booking

Eligibility assessment

We check you against NICE criteria and rule out anything that would make clinical weight management unsuitable. If it isn't right for you, we'll say so and suggest what might help instead.
Included

Your treatment options

If you're eligible, your pharmacist explains the options available to you, how they work, the commitment involved and any side effects — so you can make an informed choice. Nothing is decided by a calculator or a form.
Discussed at consultation

Nutrition & lifestyle plan

Practical, realistic guidance on eating, movement and sleep that fits your life, not a crash diet. This underpins everything else we do.
Included

Regular reviews

Scheduled check-ins to track progress, adjust your plan and manage any side effects. You'll always see a pharmacist, not a chatbot.
Review fee confirmed at booking

Ongoing support

Questions between appointments? Call or message the pharmacy and a member of the team will get back to you.
Included

Not sure whether B12 is relevant to you? Book the consultation anyway — an honest 'no' costs you nothing more than the appointment, and we'll point you towards the right next step.

Frequently asked questions

B12 injections in Hoxton — your questions answered.

Straight answers on who the service is for, what happens at your appointment and why we always consult first. Can't see your question? Call us or ask at your consultation.

Who is the B12 service for?

Adults who think they may benefit from a B12 injection. A pharmacist checks your suitability at a short consultation first; the injection is only given where clinically appropriate.

Do I need a blood test first?

Not always, but the pharmacist may recommend one, or ask to see recent results, before deciding whether an injection is suitable for you.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly with us. With your permission we can let your GP know.

Where are you?

Spring Pharmacy, 233–235 Hoxton Street, London N1 5LG — a few minutes' walk from Hoxton Overground and Old Street station. Open Monday to Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 9am–5:30pm.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. Consultations take place in a private room and your records are held under pharmacy confidentiality rules. Nothing is shared with your GP without your agreement.

Book a consultation

Pick a time, done.

Your consultation takes around 15 minutes in a private room. Bring a list of your current medicines and any recent blood test results if you have them — they help the pharmacist decide whether an injection is appropriate.
